Conflict of Laws in Arbitration: Pervasive and New Issues

Conflict of laws questions arise at every corner of international arbitration proceedings. Despite an increasing harmonization of the relevant laws the question which law governs particular procedural or jurisdictional questions or the merits may still be outcome determinative as recent awards and decisions in various jurisdictions show.
